Verlene Dixon serves as the Director of Operations for CarePoint Home Health, LLC, a licensed 245D Waiver Services and Personal Care Assistance agency serving the Twin Cities. Earlier in her healthcare career, Ms. Dixon graduated cum laude with an associate degree in medical imaging and radiography and went on to attain national certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. She went on to attend and graduate cum laude from the University of Baltimore with a bachelor's degree in Health Systems Management.
 
As an imaging professional, Ms. Dixon assisted physicians in performing mammographic and cardiac interventional procedures in health care facilities throughout the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area including Johns Hopkins Hospital, George Washington University Hospital, and Washington Hospital Center, among others. She went on to serve as a Case Management Consultant with the Washington D.C. Army National Guard where she provided support to the Deputy State Surgeon in the assessment and assurance of reserve soldiers' overall mental and physical readiness for deployment. 
 
After relocating to the Twin Cities, Ms. Dixon opted to merge her leadership skills, management experience, and years of hands-on patient care to launch CarePoint Home Health, LLC. She believes that the inception of CarePoint has acted as a catalyst in the realization of two very important life goals she has; doing what you love as your work and making the most positive impact possible on the lives of others.  
 
Ms. Dixon resides in the Twin Cities southwest metro area with her family. She enjoys traveling, music, and entertaining friends and family.
