Verlene Dixon is the owner and Director of Operations for CarePoint Home Health, LLC, a licensed 245D Waiver Services and Personal Care Assistant, or PCA, agency serving the Twin Cities. Earlier in her medical career, Miss Dixon received her Associates Degree with Honor and went on to become a nationally certified Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with an advanced registration in Mammography. She performed mammographic and cardiac imaging and interventional procedures in health facilities throughout the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area including Johns Hopkins Hospital, George Washington University Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, and others while attending the University of Baltimore where she graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Science in Health Systems Management. Later serving as a Case Management Consultant with the Washington D.C. Army National Guard, Miss Dixon provided support to the Deputy State Surgeon in the assessment of reserve soldiers' overall mental and physical readiness for deployment.
After relocating to Minnesota, Miss Dixon opted to merge her leadership skills, management experience, and years of hands-on patient care and launch a homecare business, CarePoint Home Health, LLC. Verlene believes that her healthcare career has allowed her to realize two of life goals; doing what you love for work and making the biggest positive impact possible on the lives of others.
Miss Dixon currently resides in the Twin Cities southwest metro with her family. She enjoys traveling, music, and entertaining friends and family.
